She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Ridge; and sister, Virginia Slimp. Survivors nephew, Jeff Slimp; and niece, Cathy Slimp both of Knoxville. The family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Caledonia Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Danny Neal officiating. Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway is serving the family of Mrs. Ridge.
