      CROGHAN ? Carolina "Lena" Maciejko, 93, formerly of Main Street, Croghan, died Wednesday at Samaritan Keep Nursing Home, Watertown, where she had been a resident since June 16.
      Mrs. Maciejko went to work for the former Beaverite Products Inc., Beaver Falls, in 1953. She retired in 1982 as a machine operator after 29 years of service.
      Born Oct. 10, 1914, in Coxton, Ky., the daughter of Frank and Mary Philippini Colombo, she graduated in 1933 from Beaver River Central School.
      She married Henry A. Maciejko on Oct. 18, 1935, in Beaver Falls. Mr. Maciejko died May 6, 1976.
      Mrs. Maciejko was a communicant of St. Stephen's Catholic Church and a former member of Beaver River Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, canning, collecting recipes and reading, especially love stories.
      Surviving are a son and his wife, Henry A. and Beverly, Henderson; a brother and his wife, Tory and Evelyn Colombo, Beaver Falls; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
      A brother, Joseph Colombo, died before her.
      A prayer service will be at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Scanlon Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel L. Chapin, pastor, officiating.
      Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
      Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
      Donations may be made to Croghan Volunteer Fire Department.
