  	Joe W. Douglas, 71, of Sidney, OH, passed away Aug. 6 at 6:14 p.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, OH. He was born on October 2, 1936 in Newcomb the son of the late Horace and Alberta (Rigney) M. Douglas. He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. He was a foreman in the foundry department at the former Wagner Manufacturing Company. On January 19, 1957 he married Loretta Brooks and she survives, along with six children, William J. Douglas, Ronald E. Douglas, Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) O'Quinn, David Elmore, all of Sidney, Mrs. David (Patricia) McMaster of Piqua, and Michael Elmore of Fort Loramie, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Roger (Bertha) Newport of Pine Knot, KY., and Mrs. Eddie (Faye) Combs of Cleveland, TN. Funeral services were held Aug. 11 at the Cromes Funeral Home with Rev. Leamon Branscum officiating. Interment was in the Plattsville Cemetery in Plattsville, OH.
